July 1st on Encore: An all-day James Bond marathon...

...they are showing the first 19 James Bond films throughout July, starting with an all-day marathon on the first.

I have all of the Connery, a couple of Moore, one Dalton, and all of the Brosnan on DVD, but that's it...so I'll be watching, especially for the Lazenby film.

I've got the first seven or so on LaserDisc. Shit. Now I need to watch them. HopeHoops Jun 2012 #2

I couldn't accept Moore as a Bond. I haven't seen Craig's movie yet, but he's good. HopeHoops Jun 2012 #4

And can't wait until the new one comes out. I think Daniel Craig is a kick-ass Bond.

Thanks for the heads up AV!

As far as the Moore movies are concerned, I have "For Your Eyes Only" and "Man With The Golden Gun," which are the only two I really like. I thought the first Dalton movie was boring but have (and enjoy) "License to Kill." Brosnan wasn't half bad. For my tastes, no one will ever top Connery.

Moore as Bond was like Clooney as Batman - just didn't work.

Too bad Lazenby decided to bail out after one film, he could have been a good Bond, certainly better than Moore.
