I think you're mixing your musicals:

A friend was doing some summer stock and did "Oklahoma!" and "Fiddler on the Roof" for three months. The casts were pretty punchy by the end of it all. Let's just say you haven't lived until you hear "Anatevka" as "Oklahoma." A-N-A-T-E-V-K-A, Anatevka, Oy vey!
