but what an awful thing to do with a perfectly good apple. On the other hand, strawberries injected with brandy and dipped in chocolate are beyond awesome!

7. Yes to caramel apples

Nowadays I just buy the stuff from Marzetti's and use it as dip. I only eat Granny Smith apples. It's just me and hubby, so I'm not gonna get out a double boiler to make a few caramel apples.

I've never had a candied apple.

the caramel ones coated in nuts and chocolate seem to be more popular these days.

I remember making these with my Mom in the 60s. You could buy the kit from the supermarket.
