This week, high winds but much cooler weather. Tonight? We get a freeze warning. What the heck is going on?

But I'm very grateful to say my house is quite safe.

Mid-Michigan. The trick or treat hours are 5:30 to 8 and it's almost 7:30. Kind of sad.

...in the far northwest suburbs of the greater Chicago area, and the temperature is 29 with a wind chill of 19. We have had 10 trick-or-treaters.

I think I will be taking lots of candy to the pediatric office tomorrow morning.

Still too early for the T & Ts. I usually have around 100. Candy this year: Rolos, skittles, sour patch kids, M & M’s. Coloring books if cannot have candy.🎃🎃🤖🤖👻👻I love the kiddos.

Last year we almost ran out of candy- this year I'm giving each kid a handful to get rid of it.

Which is good!

The high was 55 today and the low was 34 last night. Second coldest Halloween on record.

Our high is usually 80-85 and low around 57 (often higher) on Halloween.
This is a treat!

It was warm the past few days and even up until lunch today, then the bottom fell out. By the time trick-or-treat kicked off, it was in the 30s with an occasional snow flurry. Worse yet, there were wind gusts up to 40 mph. So, there is a lot of leftover candy to deal with.

Very cute. “Thank you” without fail.

in Wake County (Raleigh), NC about 3 hours ago. Scared the crap out of me. I'd already seen we were under tornado watch from a TV announcement, but the upgrade to the tornado warning was remarkable.

Tornado weather here is normally in the spring. It was quite warm and humid here today. We did have some pretty serious thunderstorms come through, but fortunately no tornado.
