I watched the first season of this show, and definitely got the vibe that the voting is, sometimes, pretty rigged. I could be totally off base but, as I recall, an ABC 'employee' won that first season.

And, truthfully, I have no idea who most of the "stars" are, anyway.

4. I used to like it when they brought in interesting truly underdog contestants

like the aging George Hamilton, the incredibly admirable (and now "late&quot Valerie Harper, Florence Henderson, Cloris Leachman, David Hasselhoff, etc. etc.

But when they brought in all these RW politicos, I stopped watching. Talented celebrities and athletes in other fields are interesting to watch even if they aren't adept at dancing, but these hack politicians who only remain because of the stupid audience voting? I stopped watching some time ago.
