2. It always makes me think Nature is meant to be seen

and appreciated. Not just for hunting or pollination but just to be experienced in a sensory way for its own sake.

I’m an agnostic atheist so this particular thought of mine is problematic for me.

5. Except for hummingbirds, I've never seen a bird hover! The sandpipers seem to share one mind!❤

6. Seagulls definitely know how to hover in a headwind.

I've crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (*really* tall) several times, and seen seagulls and one osprey hovering in one spot as I drove past.

(This is a dangerous bridge for bird watchers ! Let someone else do the driving !)
