Added Kanopy (HBO documentaries), Stirr, CW Seed, attempted Hoopla (ebooks), already had NewsOn and Yahoo.
Here's the trick, for Kanopy and Hoopla you have to have a participating library and in registering will be asked for a PIN and a password. My bar code library card was so old that there was no PIN, and my local library participates in Kanopy but not Hoopla. So I had to go to the brick'n'mortar library to update the card.
It took some of that brick-to-the-forehead to get registered, then link the device (android) to the Roku, but Kanopy is fantastic, has heavy duty movies and documentaries as opposed to fireball type movies. Already viewed Ken BURNS' Central Park Five, the first long form movie/video of any kind I have seen since last year's The Favourite, etc. My library doesn't participate in Hoopla.

(25,514 posts)It does participate in something called "Overdrive", but the videos are pretty much junk. It's mostly History Channel reality shows, Sesame Street, Jillian Michaels workout videos and a few bad movies such as Sharknado.

(20,209 posts)I would gladly pay $5 a month, especially since it goes to the library.
Just 4, we have a limit of 10 here in St. Louis County.
