I love that she's being outspoken during this time. "Maybe you'll be loved when you quit enabling Donald Trump." (she said to Mike Pompeo at one of the recent Kennedy Center gatherings).

(6,593 posts)Was on at 8pm and now again at 11pm.
CNN has it scheduled again on Saturday January 4th at 8pm and 11pm (this is for my central time, through DirecTv satellite... check your local listings).
Such a fantastic show! Wonderful to see some of the old clips. Peter Asher blew me away. He was in Brit duo Peter and Gordon.. his actress sister Jane Asher was in pretty deep with Paul McCartney for a while. Good to see him again.
Great program... see it if you can.

(14,492 posts)I adore Ronstadt but watch very little TV. However, if there's something of interest, I can get my son to find it and alert me.
TIA.........

(14,492 posts)Enjoyed the story and saved a few of those photos. One shows her picking a 12-string at a very young age! I've loved her singing for much of my adult life.
Hoping to see the show this weekend. My son says it's available on Hulu as on-demand, too.

(6,593 posts)It's the story of Linda's life and how she came to be the person we all know and love. Included are precious childhood photos of Linda and her family, a bit of her family's history, nostalgic recordings of her Father singing, lots of commentary from her associates in the music industry, LOADS of clips of her singing onstage, and what I found to be quite charming... Linda's on-and-off narration, which gave me an insight into Linda I'd never had before.
