thinking of a friend in Hospice who is leaving very soon...

I'm periodically checking in with the news to keep an eye on what the consequences will be of Trump's "leadership move" of late. Aching for those whose family members are leaving for the Middle East and watching videos of those good-byes to see if Ivanka, Don and Erik are included.

In other words, aimlessly moving around from one thing to another.

my neighborhood in Tulsa was the first to burn in '21. I imagine it will be the first again when the SHTF. We won't be sticking around to find out. No time to worry about crap 1/2 a world away when the real danger is just miles away.

played with my African Violets, played Freecell, few routine indoor chores, occasional check of headlines to be sure it hadn't started the bombing yet.

It was really a mini massage so maybe I'll get a full body one next week. Due for a pedicure in a couple of weeks and will have an extra 15 minute foot massage then...heaven!

Gonna research new ice cream flavors to buy and eat next week. Also stop by the bakery for some kind of fruit pie and have that a la mode.

Finding out more about my favorite charity, really just discovered by me, Doctors Without Borders. They do important, lifesaving work in places where they are desperately needed. Will give more soon.
