It works great and then all of a sudden it won't move were I want it, and yes, the batteries are new as is the mouse.

Have you tried replacing the batteries?
My experience is that, when the batteries start to go, (even if your laser is on) you either get very intermittent behavior or no response at all.

Had to change back to hard wire mouse and keyboard. Always turn off Bluetooth on phone when in public.

My problem went away after those changes and clean up. Was being hacked by someone in Denver. K

Cause
This problem may occur if one or more of the following conditions are true:
The batteries that you are using are rechargeable.
The batteries that you are using are low in power.
The receiver is plugged into a port that is not working.
The wireless device that you are using has trouble synchronizing with the receiver. There may be interference from other wireless devices.
The color of the wireless pointing device pad is preventing the wireless pointing device from suspending itself.
There may be a connection problem in the battery compartment or on the recharge base.

Most of the list does not apply to my situation, but a couple of the items I can try changing.

Yet my apple Iphone was hacked, the battery was messed up and people could not hear me.
I had to get a new phone.
