More Snapple cap trivia

Here's some more totally worthless trivia from the bottle caps of my Snapple...

Some bears build nests in trees for sunbathing or resting.

The bumblebee bat is the smallest mammal on earth. It weighs less than a penny.

Women blink nearly twice as much as men.

In the average lifetime, a person will walk the equivalent of five times around the equator.

73.6% of all statistics are made up on the spot - including this one and the subject line of this post.

And a spider's silk is stronger than steel.

And if that wasn't enough, only the female mosquito bites.

President James Madison weighed only about 100 lbs. Wow. That's about what I weigh. He must have either been a very small or extremely skinny dude.

All three of our daughters are taller than her now and two are slightly taller than me, but I've lost about 4" over the past few years - osteoporosis.

5. that seems like a normal weight for that height

I'm about 5'1" (I can barely make it to 5'2" if I really really streeeeeetch) and I fluctuate between 95 and 105 depending on what time of the month it is.

Being around 5 feet tall for a woman of European decent is normal though maybe not average, but for a man that's REALLY small. Madison must have been really tiny for a guy or anorexic. He looks average in paintings I've seen of him, but apparently it was customary to paint people with an eye to erasing their "flaws". Apparently Napoleon was a really tiny guy, too, and was always painted on horseback or in some other way to make him look bigger. I suppose if I was going to have my portrait painted I'd want all my flaws erased, too.

7. The Napoleon comment made me think of "Lord Farqua" (or whatever it was) in "Shrek".

She thinks she has extra baggage. I don't. She teaches kindergarten all day and teaches karate at night. People think I beat her because she's ALWAYS got a bruise SOMEWHERE. Curiously, most of them come from kindergarten, but the REALLY big ones are usually sparring injuries from guys with a good 8" of height or more on her. This is a chick you seriously don't want to mess with.

As for the portraits, I'm sure they did show him with "flaws" removed. The shrub's portrait doesn't look nearly as drunk as he always is.

I always feel like I want to pour out that bottle and open a new one just to see what the cap trivia is.

Yesterday I got two in a row with the one about the polar bears smelling seals 20 miles away and felt cheated. I so wanted to pour that second one out and open a new one just because of the damn cap trivia. LOL!

If they ever stop doing the trivia on the caps I may not survive it. LOL!

8. RC Cola had a similar thing in the 70's and there was some beer that had sayings in the cap.

Sorry, but I can't remember the name of the beer. It would have been in the '80s.

I'm beginning to wonder if it's a sign of things to come. Last year we had a plague of the nasty critters, and with the wet year we've had this year I anticipate another hungery bloodsucking horde.

Oh, here's a new one... the average person takes about 23,000 breaths per day. I'm horrified that someone was paid to count them and compile the stats in order for this info to land on one of my Snapple caps.
