Gonna miss my MM fix! Interesting thing about Lane: he's played by Jared Harris who is Richard Harris's son. You know: Camelot, MacArthur's Park, Dumbledore. Also the younger Harris plays David Robert Jones on Fringe. He seems pretty low-key about his life and endeavors.

As for MM, well it's gonna hurt, but Burn Notice is coming back on Thursday, so at least there's something fun and escapist to look fwd to!

Actually, Matthew Weiner has promised to age these characters into present day--which would mean that Don will be in his mid-80s by the end of the series. Funny, cuz my dad is 88 and he owned an ad agency when he was working. But he swears he was never Don--but before he had his own agency, he worked for a guy who totally WAS him! The womanizing, the million Martini lunches, the opulent lifestyle, et al. The only dif was this took place 3000 west of Madison Ave.

Anyway, no spoilers for the season finale--except to say Weiner is CRUEL! Nice fade-to-black, leving us in ambiguity!!!!

He seems to have been increasingly alienated all season.
