I went through the same thing when I lived there in the 1980's (except I was a poor student and did not own any sweaters, jackets, or blankets - Brrr.)

It has gotten to 62 over the last couple of nights. Pretty cold to wake up to with no furnace, but I bundle up on the couch while our LED fireplace throws out some heat. By mid-morning the temperature outside is normal again.
I seem to remember it getting this chilly last year at night for a short while as well.
