I learned something today while viewing the BBC In Pictures offerings... I've long been using

3 periods (...) as punctuation at the end of a thought or sentence and now I know that this is called an
"ellipsis" and is used to indicate "the omission of a second (further) word - to be added by the viewer" (reader), explained artist Ivan Morison. So that's one addition to my knowledge today... Well, I did
intuitively already know the last bit...

I enjoy viewing the pics at The BBC, Guardian and Reuters. Often I see pics of African antelopes and
that's always a gnu experience...
