So weird. It looks smokey in my area of Central Florida,

but no smell of smoke. I heard emergency vehicles about an hour ago. Maybe this is residue? As I understand the pollution indexes, this should be a pleasant day. Wonder if it's safe to work outside.

Take that back. There is a smell to it. Smells like burnt plastic and/or rubber.

So, probably not an accident. It just doesn't smell right to me.

Maybe they're burning the bodies?

but not yet. I go out and if it smells like regular pasture burning I go ahead with my outside work but if it smells weird and chemical I go back in. We have too much stuff out here that could poison you if it burned from the Air Force Base, that is used a lot still but not actually active, and oil tanks all over. Just be safe, even regular burns can cause problems for you.
