"Don't ever go down to the end of the town if you don't go down with me"

The song starts:

James James Morrison Morrison Weatherby George Dupree
Took great of his mother, though he was only three.
James James said to his mother: "Mother, " he said, said he.
"Don't ever go down to the end of the town if you don't go down with me.

Life imitating art:

My daughter down in Frankfurt let me know that someone in her firm's Düsseldorf office was just diagnosed positive for the corona virus. People in her firm work all over the globe, so there's no telling where this guy has been in the last 2 weeks, whether it was Bratislava, Boston, Barcelona or Beijing (or all four). But he was diagnosed in Düsseldorf, and that is where my wife and I live. She said I should avoid going downtown or through the main train station or the airport for a while (right, might as well attach a chain to my leg, too).

Uh oh.

Part of my work involves identifying and authenticating old money, and the USA has the curious monetary history of a currency that has remained legal tender since the first silver 5 cent coins (called "half dimes" back then--5¢ nickels weren't introduced until 1866) were struck in 1792. From individual old pieces to Central Bank hoards of tens of thousands of old $20 gold pieces, these have to be inspected on site, often in the presence of government officials and secure bank vaults. You can't send the Bank of England (just picking a country out of the air) to me via FedEx. I have to do this on location.
