Discovered this about two years ago and still slurp it up any chance I get.
I get a takeout container of it whenever I’m in Chinatown to have for breakfast the next day.

The preserved duck eggs come out more like a seasoned egg white aspic (gelée), cut in cubes.
Not quite pork and eggs. Although that sounds quite good also.

Follow it up some New York style cheesecake, a slice of Cleveland-style Strawberry casatta cake, or an Amish Apple Streusel Crumb pie.

A salad favoring aromatic "honey" cherry tomatoes from our local Turkish market, then palm hearts and artichoke hearts in olive oil with a bouquet of Italian herbs.

Thoroughly vegan, which I am not by any means, but at this moment, that's what my preference would be.

Ask me again in 3 hours, and I'll probably say a big plate of freshly fried Cape Cod scallops with lots of spicy cocktail sauce*

* to our friends in the UK: in the USA, cocktail sauce is a thick tomato-based dip containing lots of horseradish and some lemon juice. I explain this because in much of Europe, "cocktail sauce" means a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise, commonly known as "Russian dressing" in the USA, and positively DISGUSTING when used to accompany the fabulous scallops of Cape Cod.
