So what have you stocked up on that most reveals who you are?

Me: 75 lbs. of cat litter, 80 cans and two huge bags of cat food and three bags of cat treats.

Edited to add: I've got five cats so this won't last as long as you'd think.

I would be quite happy to make a simple meal from my fresh bread with butter and jam. Toasted, topped with a sunny side up egg, or used to make any kind of sammie, or garlic toast smeared with olive tapenade and a glass of good red wine.

Bread is a necessity, so when the store bought stuff runs out, I'll enjoy making (and eating!) a variety of artisan breads.

I don't know why but I bought like 30 rolls of TP because everyone else was buying them.
I have 4 36 count flats of water (again, tap water is fine here for emergency)
And I have refrigerated soups (10), cooked pulled pork in BBQ... and a boat load of carb balanced tortillas... which I use with peanut butter and either jam (3) or honey(3) to make "roll up"

Oh, a some cereals (rice krispies, cheerios) and milk.

Haven't left the house in 3 days... don't plan on leaving anytime soon. If I have to I have latex gloves (no mask... but a mask wouldn't help me) a container of alcohol wipes (for anything I buy) and my own home made hand sanitizer (70% pure rubbing alcohol, 30 percent pure aloe vera).

I put this together about 4 to 6 weeks ago.

I hope it's enough.

Only 50 lbs of dog food (he’s approaching a year so I think we will switch after this bag).

40 lbs of cat food and two cases of cans. Six boxes of litter.

I have a freezer full of food (lots of chicken). My basement store room is crammed with canned food and home canned items. My kitchen pantry has plenty of items including bulk goods so I’m sure I could ride out a couple of months.

But my boys are coming home from college this weekend. One had some spring break plans fall through and the other suddenly has an extra week of spring break. They’ll put some dents in the pantry.

several weeks ago. A librarian character in a book I was reading recommended him to a male patron of the library. The guy trashed the book--and convinced the librarian that she really ought to agree with his assessment. When I finished the book, I decided to check out a Michael Connelly book and I liked it. Went back for more.

And I will not read another one by the author (Debbie Macomber) who created the librarian character. Didn't like her writing, her plot, her characters!

I will look and see what the library has by Diane Chamberlain.

I have my priorities straight.

I'm actually stocked up on everything. And I did it in December.

I bought a car that turned out to be a lemon, and it was purchased back by Hyundai in January. So in December, I started stocking up like you can't believe, because I knew I was going to be without a car for a while.

Turned in the car the first week of January, fully expecting to buy a new car by the end of the month. But then I started having serious problems with my spine. Between the pain and the pain pills, I couldn't drive. So I have yet to buy another car. So anytime anyone took me to the market, I stocked up even more.

Who knew I was preparing for this?

And I really did get a lot of chocolate. I can't live without it!
