First day of spring and a snow storm in Boulder/Denver area.

Heavy, wet stuff, up to seven inches. It's fine. I took today off work. Plus, we can always use the moisture.

1. Yeah and my smoke alarm picked today to start ear-piercing, dog-freaking chirps

Thank the goddess, I finally found a new 9-volt battery and stumbled thru replacing while the pup was frantically jumping all over me. Why one alarm and why today? LOL

2. Bummer. Was it at 3:00 a.m.?

Ours always goes off around 3:00 or 4:00 a.m., when you have to stumble around to find a ladder, batteries, etc. You might as well change all of them out because once one goes they all start going.

4. Actually 4AM-- a few hours after our big hail storm. How did you know?

And I almost broke my neck on the damned chair because I was too out of it to find the stepladder. It is NEVER obvious which way the batteries go in, so I had to go through the process three times.

You had a hail storm? Yikes.

I just had to take my doggo to the vet for her monthly shot to treat her Addison's and the roads were terrible. The vet clinic won't let anyone enter the building now. You call them when you get there and they come out and fetch your critter and then bring it back out.

the turning to Spring is around 10pm our time. So maybe it will warm up and you can start Spring tomorrow morning with nicer weather!
