5. Any spray foam (the name in our house for spray whipped cream) goes on strawberries

One of the guys working on our house also works at local farm co-op. Last fall they planted extra rows of strawberries to set up a U-pick deal. Of course, that is not happening.

He brought a big box full week before last and the other workers ate a lot of them during the day but left about three pounds. Rather than let the wildlife get them, I brought them in, froze some of them and made strawberry muffins with about six cups of them. Best strawberries I've had in ages!

So I asked if he could bring me another box, which I would pay for. He did and I have twenty pounds or more of strawberries, cleaned and cut up, in the freezer. This is more strawberries than I have ever had to eat in a year during my lifetime. And I grew up near the Plant City strawberry growers where we'd stop and buy strawberries at the roadside stands!

So most of my fruit for the year will be strawberries. I hope I still like them by this time next year...
