... sans the chicken. And I don't smoke. Been up all night -- can't sleep. Of course rustysgurl's Rusty has been sawing logs, my ankle surgery has been postponed, and the neighbor let their 3 chihuahuas out at 1:45 and 4:15 am. I may need bail money.

I have been cracking jokes to keep from crying.

Roosters and I do not get along. Ever since I was a toddler on the Farm. The old red Rooster came after me every time I went outside.

So today my main staple is chicken! That will teach him, I think..

I didn't know that at the time, I'm pretty short and he was quite tall and fast...lol. Scared the heck out of me to have to walk past him and his lady goose. I would end up running...lol

That rooster has some mean looking spurs.

I got flogged a few times by a bantam rooster at my grandmother's house as a little kid, probably around that boy's age. Those little shits are mean as rattle snakes.
