(12,159 posts)... sure do miss Pinboy.
I remember one ridiculous thread he was in on where the puns were all meat-based... "What's your beef?" "You've got a lot to loin," etc. At one point somebody posted something about sausage, and in what must have been milliseconds, Pinboy posted this no-text response:

(25,816 posts)I was in Hawaii, (Honolulu) first St Louis Heights, then Hickam, then Manoa Valley.
Almost seven years, Punahou, class of '68.
Remember when the Hawaii National Guard deployed to Vietnam (Thanks Nixon)?
My Dad went. Volunteered, to help people who didnt have anyone to look out for them. Thats how he explained it to me.
Remember the SDS protesting at Roosevelt High School, and the protests when the guys got on the busses to leave? I remember wanting to join the protest. I was a little kid.
Thanks for remembering Pinboy39er. Cheers mate!
panader0
(25,816 posts)for the surf movies. I was a member of Southern Unit Surf Club and
every good surfer on he south shore would be there to watch Bud Brown
or some other guy host his movies. They sat on stage and narrated as the
movies had no sound track.
The guys were checking each other out big time, then stepping outside
to get high. Great times, epic fun.
ETA: maybe it was Friday night.
