I don't normally drink during the week, but I'm making an exception tonight.
Thank you for being you.
I love you all...

He was out all last week, but nobody told me he was even sick; I just thought he was taking some well-deserved time off. Such a sweet guy. He and I are both grandfathers, and we bonded over tales of our grandkids.
He's the first victim of the virus whom I knew personally...

I had always been told that brandy should be warmed. But I like it better room-temperature. I'll have to try it on the rocks...
I hope her tomorrow is better than today...

(66,434 posts)I want to go to Red Robin and get a huge, greasy burger and all the fries I can eat. But I don't want it enough to commit acts of terror. Pity the gun-crazed fuckheads who are ruining it for everyone else...

(112,316 posts)I finally have all of the paperwork with indigent care approved and called today for an appointment with the physician. My appointment is at 8 a.m. so I'll be calling it early tonight. I have all of my prescriptions in a storage bag and ready to go.
It was a productive Monday for me getting small tasks completed ranging from airing up the bike tires, cashing in lottery tickets, loading money on a debit card, paying the cable bill which my brother forgot to do, and completing and faxing more paperwork. The only thing that I didn't accomplish was getting syringes for myself and my brother since they didn't have the brand and size that we each need at H.E.B. Hopefully, I'll get that taken care of tomorrow.
Enjoy the bourbon.
