Oddly our street rescue has those same damaged ears. When he sleeps on my lap, it reminds me of all the horrible things he might have experienced his three years on the streets.

Also, when we have raging storms and he’s sleeping by my feet, I wonder what he did to survive that long.

Of course now he lives the life of a US two year old. Toys, beds, cookies and lots of kisses.

Rescues have such gratitude and love.
