Life does go on good or bad

I am staying home and things have been low key. But this week, hitting some bumps.

I had to take my old cat to the vet. He has been sick, and was diagnosed with gastroenteritis. He isn't snapping out of it, but I hope by the weekend, he might be doing better.

And with all the rain, I went down to my basement for something, and have water seeping in on the side I usually don't get water. So I just moved a bunch of stuff, and used the wet-dry to pull some of the water up. I have to go out, but when I get back, I am going to try to divert some of the water in the yard to a different path. When water isn't where it is supposed to be, I hate it.

Good for you troubleshooting the downspout. You're welcome for my suggestion. Keep it in mind. abqtommy May 2020 #7

That's a big 10-4 for me too. Water wrecks things relentlessly. Drink it, take a shower with it but otherwise keep it outside. Good luck with fixing the water problem.

And of course, best wishes for Mr. Kitty.

On top of everything else, i had to run an errand. When I got back, I checked outside and saw the gutter was overflowing. I created a diversion and will ask my handyman to check it when he comes out.

This water is not usual. I get a little water on the far corner away from this corner, but I had some drainage put in 2 years ago, and that took care of that problem, except for times like this rain.

Thanks for the idea, appreciate it.
