i don't have cable, i'm OTA
so am limited to news channels (local only) and whatever is available for entertainment... i watch a lot of ION these days simply because they show the programs that were popular but i didn't watch because i usually worked nites..
so a lot of Law and Order, NCIS-LA , Chicago PD, Criminal Minds, CSI MIAMI, etc
tonite i tuned another channel that was showing FAIL SAFE .. must have been a horror scenario during its day (1964) and it's followed by The China Syndrome (1979)
i've seen both before now, over time several times, and it feels quite quaint that this is the fear factor we faced then .. compared to today 😑
and it is a bit sad to realize that what turmoil, death and destruction that was imagined then, doesn't seem to measure up to what we are potentially are going to face in the near future...
oh well, to 
and dated disaster films ...
