really show up when serious health problems happen. Not sure I would have made it without my cats and one in particular who was a true nurse cat. At those times, people can be a challenge but the animals just let you be a mess or whatever.

They are always willing to listen to your problems, and don't mind if you bury your face in their mane for a good cry. After you've had one for 20+ years, you know each other so well.
