I dreamed a man gave me a bag of money

It wasn't a big bag, but there was a thick wad of bills, and some old coins that I could see. I'll be thinking of this dream all day, wondering how much money was in the bag!

1. I was once given a giant bag of coins to cash in at the bank

during a charity drive at work.

As I was carrying the bag, it broke. I was on the floor of a break room gathering up the cash and grumbling away when someone walked in and asked what my problem was.

"My bag of money broke."

"Oh...your big bag o' money broke...what's next...the price of diamond stickpins went up?"

I still chuckle when I think of how "first world problem" my answer must have sounded.

I play lottery pretty regularly. I check frequency charts and sometimes my numbers hit. I won $12 in June and $8 in July.

I didn't realize you get $4 for the power ball. I hit 1 number and the power ball and the power ball by itself twice in June. I thought I only won $8 and when I went through the drive-thru, I asked the guy to cash it in and asked if I could just get some gas instead of handling the money. So he set up a pump for me. I told him he could keep what was left. I pumped $7, thought he'd get $1. When I cashed in the next ticket, I realized he ended up getting $5. Oh well, it was free money. But I laughed at myself for not checking what I won. lol

My dad used to randomly pay for the stranger behind him at toll booths. He used to say that watching the stranger's reaction in the rear view mirror (confusion and then a ridiculous level of glee) was worth it.

My kids do that. Glad they are aware of their fellow humans.

I was just a little abashed. I could imagine not paying attention and making the clerk a rich man. lol

11. here's some advice

look at the numbers I play, then play every number around them one off.........Oh, and if you see me in line to buy said ticket,

you'll be there for hours as the person ahead of me counts out miscellaneous coins to purchase their tickets.
