But the evenings and nighttime cool down to the low 50s. We had our first snow a couple of weeks ago even though it didn't last long.

It is starting to get into the fall. Mother nature is trying to adhere to her pattern.

Anyway, something about the harmony in that song has always got me! I first listened to it on a CD my brother played. I'm sure we all have a song or two like that?

Edit: I'm originally from DC, or more closely Reston, VA. I loved living in Reston! Terraset, community, sense of holistic living (back then anyway) was what shaped me.

I got to experience a level of cold I've never experienced before.

I have to say....it is inconvenient, and I can see it getting tiresome.

BUT, I actually think I'd prefer the cold. You can dress for it.
There's a limit to how much you can take off, especially as a professional.

But, it might be a case of "grass is always greener..."

And it gets tropical sticky there in summer.

Stays about in the 50's and 60's in the dead of winter.

Another friend of ours in Sioux Falls SD, cracked up both of us on Skype one day, when he said it had "warmed up a little."

From 13 below to 10 below.

My Georgia friend was teasing us guys "Up nort'," while I razzed the Georgia guy about how if they get 1/2 inch of snow it's a statewide disaster, while we get a broom.

It was 90 degrees just about every day and we are desperate for rain. I’m looking forward to cooler weather!
