The less you eat, the less you want to eat. It's the side effect that keeps weight off. The snowball effect in reverse. I'm very happy for you and that you've found how simple it really is. It'll be easy for you to maintain good habits.

Fear made me lose weight. The perpetuation of the routine keeps it off. I love pissing off my friends who can't/won't lose weight just due to their own stubborness. I wouldn't normally gloat, but they're conservative, and so I do so with much relish.
