Was one of my favorites in my early 20's through my 30's.

RIP Helen Reddy and thank you.

They took us by the hand and walked with us to the CEO chair or to the surgeon’s locker room or to the Senate or to the Supreme Court or to wherever any woman wanted to go. “I am Woman” is a great anthem to women’s empowerment. Every line. We will continue to belt it out. Thank you Helen Reddy.

Jeff Lynne wrote it. My mom had the album (We'll Sing In The Sunshine) on cassette and would play it all the time.
