Anyone ever try taking a daily dose of apple cider vinegar?

If so, did you notice any of the perceived health benefits (blood sugar management, digestion, weight loss), or is it just another fad? I'm guessing the latter, but curious if others have a different view.

or it’ll eat the enamel off. I did it for a couple of months for kidney stone. No help.

A capful in water or cider is all you need. As for benefits, they're kinda soft. I think it helped with weight loss and overall well-being.

Brushing your teeth after any thing acidic will damage the enamel even more. I have sensitive teeth and was worried about the ACV. My favorite way to get my mouth back to a non-acidic balance is with xylitol mints or mouth wash.

I tried the ACV, didn't notice any results.

Anytime you see something touted as a magic cure, it's probably not.

And a quick on-line search doesn't turn up any double blind studies, or even any studies at all, just claims made by people about it.

My daughter says the Bragg has probiotics that help your gut stay healthy. I use commercial vinegar in some food I cook, but stopped ingesting a teaspoon before meals on its own.

No apple cider vinegar! Not now! Not ever!

Sheesh! I thought the apple cider vinegar craze was over five years ago.

There are no health benefits to severe metabolic acidosis. None.

Stop it!

Apple cider vinegar diet: Does it really work?
I used it daily in the early seventies to combat water retention, until I could not force myself to swallow.
Not worth risk (see article)

I have tried it for leg cramps, as per Thom Hartmann back when I listened to him. Didn't work, and I felt like it was burning a hole in my esophagus.
