and she said it in such a (haughty) way that she might as well have been saying "the BAG Lady," but I don't care. My dog is well trained, loving, affectionate, and more a joy to be with than almost any human I know.

So, "the DOG LADY" it is--proudly.

Which confuses everyone at work because everyone knows that our email address format is first name dot last name @ work but nobody knows that what they call me in the hallways is not my first name. Some people think there are 2 people with the same unusual last name that do the same job and when you call one you might get the other.

Sadly, payroll knows there's only one me.
