Watching the National League Championship Series yesterday

Along about the sixth inning, the announcers were lamenting how the Dodgers were leaving themselves vulnerable and messing up their pitching rotation, and this and that amounting to a tale of woe. I thought, "Yeah, that's too bad, but they've scored exactly one run in 15 innings. Not a recipe for success no matter how much you tighten up the defense or make all the right pitching moves."

Then they finally started scoring and came up just one run shy of an incredible comeback. Well, they didn't leave off scoring today. 11 runs in the first inning!

Such a pleasure to watch. I know that's the AL but baseball is baseball.

I went to the store with the Dodgers clinging to a 15-0 lead, and now it's 15-1.
