Mr. Lombardo passed in 1977. When I was finally old enough I heard this every New Years at the stroke of midnight. I can't really remember my age but I'm thinking at 7 or 8 my parents would wake us up a bit before midnight so we could watch the ball drop. Then we'd go outside and bang pots and pans, screaming HAPPY NEW YEAR
Now if I make it to 10:00 it's an achievement.
On edit: His last New Years eve
Happy New Year DU
