Watching "The Seventies" on CNN. Again.

It almost seems like a golden era (probably because I was a young adult). I don't remember Ford or Carter being shoved down our throats 24/7. The 21st century sucks!

... I remember when beepers became a thing, I decided that civilization was doomed.

Because the 70s failed to meet expectations, they are abused in memory, to say nothing of ridiculed and mocked. As if what has come since has been better, in terms of aesthetics or ethics.
