Thank god for this good man who rescued and healed her. He will make her a wonderful daddy!

You are never trying to figure out what they are feeling, it shows in their body language and not just tail wags and kisses. The original owner should be arrested for how he treated her. What a sick fuck to ask for her back. Lock him away for good.

Same thing happened to me years ago. A dog who was chained outside 24/7 got loose and was hit by a car where her injuries were severe. The owners didn't want anything to do with the dog. After very expensive vet care and pup on the mends, the owners demanded the dog back.
Response? Go Pound Sand! Never looked back, pup is 13 now.
