One thing I always kind of cringe at, dog slathering kisses all over a human's face.

Besides....
The fact that your dog's mouth bacteria is almost completely different from yours means his saliva is mostly harmless to you. In fact, a kiss from your dog is probably safer than a kiss from another human who shares similar bacteria with you.

I have a cat, and all she has to do is give me a nip or scratch which may break the skin just a little and the site quickly swells up and becomes extremely itchy. Had to have antibiotics after one small nip that broke the skin as my hand swelled up like a balloon.
