Frozen sausage biscuits ...Crispy perfect texture dough, hot juicy meat, Is there anything this thing can't do?
LOL
I have a new addiction, YouTube air fryer channels!
Tip #1 sprinkle baking powder on yur wings after you dry them, extra crispy!
I'm just doing small batches of everything, 5.8 at is perfect size for me, and with skewer rack can make all the kebabs

(9,901 posts)He was a big dude, could reach from the driver seat to the onboard fridge (Frieghtliner Columbia) and plop stuff into his fryer.
Yeah the fucker was insane, but he ran more miles than anyone Ive ever known before Skynet/GPS
Me, I had a microwave and toaster oven in my rigs. Less money, less crazy.

(13,924 posts)Good thing the prefix of "air fryer" was a head of the term...

BTW what brand of air fryer is everybody using? Stand alone or the ones in the oven proper?

(12,047 posts)Super fast cooking, easy to clean, dont heat up the kitchen with oven, if frozen foods say cook for 30 min at 425, u just use 400 and cut time in half
Really made for wings and fries, small batch cooking on the counter top, works for me

(7,947 posts)But haven't used it much. Is there a YouTube channel you'd recommend? I need some inspiration.

(15,812 posts)Ill never cook it in my cast iron pan on the stove again. Bacon grease drips away from the bacon.
I use an air fryer lid for my instant pot.

(3,268 posts)First of all: "What Is an Air Fryer?
Essentially, an air fryer is a smaller, more portable convection oven. Instead of being shaped like a toaster oven, many air fryers are tall, sort of resembling a coffeemaker. It has a removable bucket with a handle, and inside that bucket fits a removable basket. " so there's that-I can cook larger batches (mine will take 2 twelve in pizzas) and it has a rotisserie which is the only way I roast meat now.
Here's the facts: https://www.thespruceeats.com/air-fryer-vs-convection-oven-4774315
And here's my (less than $100) unit: https://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-Convection-Rotisserie-Capacity/dp/B00NGYX6EO/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAgc-ABhA7EiwAjev-j2VLfZSOHoNHWGD8P6j2_m5h5Gda-e-YhC79mx5wtdMrtu7tiDvJ2BoCSzQQAvD_BwE&hvadid=484687880599&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9002479&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=b&hvrand=1063348970307533632&hvtargid=kwd-424746827735&hydadcr=7442_9611318&keywords=hamilton+beach+xl+toaster+oven&qid=1611983722&sr=8-8&tag=googhydr-20

(14,811 posts)I got a 6 QT Power XL Air Fryer Oven & I love it! It has a rotisserie that I have used a few times, multiple racks & a basket. I also got some oil sprayers so I only have to use a tiny amount of oil with it. I bake potatoes in it, as well as perfect potato wedges, wings & all kinds things. It's also great for reheating pizza.
I use mine a lot.
