Second round of Covid relief funds came on a credit card via the mail, instead of ACH deposit.

I thought that was odd, since the last one was deposited in my bank account. Also, it doesn't appear that my husband is going to get any money, although he got funds last time without any issue. Are they allowed to hold your funds until you pay your 2020 taxes? That's the only reason I can think of that they would withhold his money.

Took a while to get it registered, but I was able to transfer it direct to my bank with no trouble - just took a couple more days (mine came the Saturday before MLK day - the transfer didn't go through until the 20th, I believe.

I have no idea why some are by debit card; wouldn't that be more expensive?

And there is no why except that they say it sped things up. Also stated that if direct deposit last time then MAY GET card or even check this time and if check last time MAY GET card this time.

tRump admin was still in charge and that is all we need to know.
