It's been so dry here in Michigan. We got a little yesterday, but not nearly enough.

96 degrees right now, dewpoint hovering at 72, heat index 103. Yuck. We don't get this kind of weather often, and frankly I wish we never did. Anything over about 83/84 is just too hot.

It is so hot here..105 so far. And there hasn't been rain in awhile. I am actually surprised a burn ban hasn't been put into effect.

8. I thought we were about to but the storm moved north into Perry County. Another's coming.

The kids are going out for a splash day with squirt guns, water balloons, etc. Good day for it.

most of the area fireworks shows have been postponed or cancelled. we're just hunkering down for the day, too hot to do much.

10. It is thundering here in Woodstock in North Georgia just northwest of Atlanta, but no rain yet.

There have been storms for the past couple of days and all kind of reports of downed trees and flooded roads in the Atlanta area, but not a drop here.

Weather news is reporting a storm on I-575 just a mile from me, but still no rain. Lots of thunder though.

23. We did Stone mountain last year.

They rushed the fireworks because they knew a super storm was blowing in. We all ran to our cars in the rain afterwards.

11. I feel like we are having first summer day!

It's been cold windy some rain and lots of cloud cover until today. Bright sun, 78 degrees. I am in the mountains mid WA state.

13. It's now a BEAUTIFUL 80 degrees here in Tucson (tho with a beastly 90% humidity).

Supposed to hit 85 -- this is down from recent highs of 106. MAJOR monsoon thunderstorms
expected. Our monsoon storms are USUALLY very fierce and of very short duration. This is
optimal for fireworks (our storms also habituate the afternoon hours at the height of the heat).

There are no plans to cancel fireworks as of this moment -- in fact, conditions leading up to
them couldn't be better if we could have planned them.

Weather held out nicely. There was a storm here earlier in the day, but then it cleared up.

So it will have washed out all the fireworks displays here in my neighborhood. There was distant thunder but no rain.

26. No rain here. In fact, there has been so little rain lately that we have a burn ban

over most of the state that included fireworks. It was a very quiet 4th of July.
