Found on DU - - - - > Four pints cream

Four pints cream

One and one half cups sugar

Two pinches salt

Two teaspoons peppermint extract

Eleven ounces chocolate chips

Mix all.

Ice cream maker

Ten pounds store-bought ice.

One cup rock salt.

Enjoy.

Instead of an ice cream maker, fill a small coffee can with the ingredients, put it in a larger can with the ice and rock salt, and just roll it around the floor. Kids LOVE taking turns at that.
