Mom, 94, had her second pfizer shot yesterday morning.

This morning she said the only side effect she noticed was feeling light headed and dizzy late in the afternoon. She went to bed early (felt "uneasy" the two times she had to get up).

Feeling fine now.

Yay!!!

I get my second Pfizer tomorrow but I am not 94 so hopefully it will all be easy peasy.

Feels good when your loved ones get it doesn't it?

The retirement community she lives in has done a great job with their response to the pandemic.

Did all your critters survive the polar blast? 🤞

and by Monday we are supposed to be at 50 degrees! Barn water froze when my propane heater broke. I went to restart it and the button you push to provide the spark shot all the way across the room, lol. Busted. They will not be here to look at it until Friday but I do have a small oil heater keeping at least the cold water open in the tack room. I can run a hose from it to the outside water tank. So all in all better than it could have been but may be more expensive than originally thought. The heater is from the early 90's so I guess it has done well.

You all OK?

Our governor, Ned Lamont, has had a wonderful planner to get CT folks vaccinated. It was well planned. I'm pleasantly surprised!

My MIL is also 94 and has had both of her shots (not sure which brand). Her only side affect was a sore arm. She's please that she can relax a little now, and her retirement home (in California) might start getting back to some version of "normal" soon.

now to stay inside for the next 2 weeks, and don't get lazy even then. masks, hand washing, etc.

I had my 2nd shot 07Feb and I'm just so happy about it. i think what i like the most is that, even if i get covid, i probably will not die from it. for the better part of a year i knew very well that if i got covid, there was a good chance it would put me in the hospital or even kill me. no more! (fuck you trump you tried and did not kill me!)
