And one place we stayed had several orphan joeys on the property. You could go into the kitchen for some cut up veggies and then go into the enclosure where the babies lived. If you sat quietly on a rock, with goodies in your hands, one of them would hop over to you and take snacks from your fingers. The one I met actually climbed into my lap and sat and ate until he was full. SO CUTE!

They were able to release them into the wild when they are old enough. Most of them lost their moms because they were hit by cars.
