...we're having a midweek freeze here in central New Jersey.

I've starting pepper, tomato and herb seeds, inside. Pretty soon I'll start the squash.

(33,544 posts)...cat grass (but not catnip, lest she become a junkie); the cat grass keeps her busy through most of the summer.
She is decidedly not good with plants.
We have to be careful with indoor plants though, and all are placed in places she can't get.

I'll bring them indoors for the freeze.

(9,353 posts)That is supposed to be the real last possible day of frost in NY.
Although, English peas can have the seeds planted March 17.
That said, my thyme, oregano, sage and parsley are all already sprouted. I wont set out my rosemary until May.
Tomatoes go out May 15.

(86,775 posts)I have to do my early seeds in starter sets indoors since we can't put anything in the ground until at least May. I just haven't had any energy since my vaccination last week.
