1. I've been patient for three years

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm never going to tame the three offspring of the cat that showed up at my house three years ago. She's tame. They are not. We have an understanding. They will be assholes while I continue to treat them like royalty.

And then there's the big tom that I feed on my deck twice a day. Every morning he hisses at me as I'm putting down his food. In his case, though, I think he probably gets chased away a lot. He was looking pretty rough when I first started feeding him. Now I'm stuck. It is what it is, I guess.
