Actually I should have bought some previously, but with the COVID weight gain, I did buy new, and feel great.

(3,054 posts)I lost 50lbs. I found out I have IBS and went way down. The tipping point was walking to my car on a beautiful day in the grocery store parking lot with my hands full while I pants myself. Amazing how fast gravity works. I used to have a set of normal and fat clothes. Now I had to add a third set.

(3,054 posts)To the doctor too. That turned out to be a very wise choice
Managing my stress, probiotics and being on a low FODMAP diet got me out of the ditch. I also learned that for me, health is the only wealth.

(86,765 posts)New jeans, can't get into the ones I already have, thankfully none are real new. I went out and bought a pair of overalls last week for my new size until I start working the garden, I'll probably lose a lot of the new weight then. I didn't gain all this until late last fall.
And I was looking at the need for new undies just yesterday. Next time I go to the city, that's on the list.

(12,132 posts)The nice thing about wearing a kilt is I can wear the exact same thing under it that I do under my regular clothes.

(12,132 posts)Great looking and open to anyone who wants to wear it (not that the others aren't but usually people will wear their family tartan or service tartan.) Blackwatch and Isle of Skye and a few others are designated specifically for everyone, Scottish or not.
