Theme park visitors were forced to climb down from the top of an iconic 200ft-high rollercoaster at UKs Blackpool Pleasure Beach after it broke down mid-ride.
Park staff were forced to scale the rollercoaster before tentatively guiding nervous visitors to safety by making them walk down.
When the £12million ride, formerly known as the Pepsi Max, opened in 1994, it was the tallest and steepest roller coaster in the world.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach reopened on April 12 as part of the easing of lockdown measures.

(36,907 posts)Stuck at the top. Balanced. Needs a slight push.
About 420 ft high.
45 minutes in line for an 18 second ride.
Worth it.
