It could’ve been written just for her. My husband and I parked on a country road by the old family farm, waiting for the hearse to drive by from the next town over. We then followed them into her rural KY town. The path took us by 3 other homes she lived in. The only difference was the hearse was going really fast, but she would’ve loved it as she was a speed demon in her day.

Will The Circle Be Unbroken was a seminal album that introduced Country and Bluegrass to a large swath of the nation; there wasn't a single college dorm that didn't have at least one copy of Will The Circle Be Unbroken.

One could make the argument The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band launched the renaissance in Bluegrass, and I suspect the "Father of Bluegrass", Bill Monroe, soon regretted his decision to shun the project.
