Also had front end damage and the driver did not respond when I asked if they were alive.
So had to call the police. 1st time in 20 years at this location.
Took them a while but they are here now and the driver-a young female-taken into custody. I'm just glad they weren't dead or had a medical issue.
Bottles on the hood and cleaning up-drunk driver. I hope they get help.
Cuzz been there done that. I've been sober since 94 but before that I drove blackout drunk more than a few times & somehow never killed anybody or myself. And when I parked it sure wasn't pretty so I think that's what we had here.

(46,354 posts)I had friends who would brag about "Driving on autopilot."
In other words, so drunk they forgot.
A few of them are dead now, a couple others went to rehab.
I look back at how stupid they were, and how stupid I could be at that age if I wanted to be.
I'm now a rather beat-up 61.

(2,533 posts)She drove up at 5:35 AM and dropped her off. The car didn't move after that per my home sec cam. The police took a copy of the video.
She's a juvenile-no license. And now in serious trouble.
Hope it does her good as a wake up call.
Sad.
